Your Role:

The Brand Manager, Innovation Incubator will redefine how Vital Farms brings new products to market, helping us build an innovation model that fuels growth, creativity and learning across our organization. This role exists to push us beyond what's expected, enabling us to move faster, test smarter and stretch further, all while upholding the high standards that make Vital Farms who we are.

You'll develop our innovation pipeline and lead launches from concept through full commercialization to enable distinct brand moments, gauge consumer interest and inform our long-term portfolio strategy. These are not line extensions, they're bold new ideas that challenge our conventions, explore new categories or reimagine our role within existing ones. This is a rare opportunity to modernize our approach to innovation, blending entrepreneurial speed and curiosity of a startup with the disciple and excellence ofwell-established brand management.

What You'll Do:



  • Reimagine innovation at Vital Farms. Build and lead an innovation pipeline that enables us to bring more ideas to market faster, unlocks new opportunities for growth, expands consumer reach and creates culturally relevant moments for the brand.
  • Source ideas from diverse inputs.Identify ideas inspired by consumer trends, stakeholder feedback, partnerships, and category expansion.
  • Develop and execute agile commercialization plans. Collaborating with internal and external partners, manage from concept through launch, including product definition, business case, packaging, pricing, and go-to-market.
  • Measure results and gather insights. Establish clear hypotheses and KPIs, evaluate in-market performance, and translate learnings into strategic recommendations for future development or scale.
  • Expand innovation pathways. Identify new routes to market including collaborations, co-branded partnerships, and alternative production models to accelerate testing while maintaining Vital Farms' high standards.
  • Foster a culture of speed and possibility. Encourage cross-functional teams to think bigger and move faster, raising the bar for how we innovate as a marketing organization.
  • Support long-term strategy. Inform and de-risk exploration into new or adjacent categories and growth territories.
  • Embrace ideation and test & learn mindset. Bring curiosity, creativity and speed to everything you do.
  • Structure & plan. Create clarity from ambiguity by setting clear goals, milestones and learning plans. Balance strategy with bias towards action.


What You Bring to the Table:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, brand management or innovation at a food consumer goods company.
  • Ability to navigate and operate effectively in ambiguous situations, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including motivating and guiding cross-functional teams.
  • Strong sense of creativity, imagination and innovation.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%, bringing key partners together to gather first-hand insights, feedback, ideas and accelerate decisions.
  • You're energized by impact and have a bias for progress over perfection.

At Vital Farms, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to, skill level,experience, education, training, market demands, and business needs.A reasonable estimate of the current starting annual base salary for this position is $130,000 - $150,000. Please keep in mind that hiring at the maximum end of the range would not be typical in order to allow for potential continued future salary growth.
