We are searching for a Senior Payroll Operations Analyst who is passionate about payroll as a profession and envisions it as a meaningful, long-term career. We highly value individuals who are committed to advancing their expertise in payroll and who desire to grow within our organization. Candidates who hold the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation will receive special consideration, as we believe these certifications reflect a true dedication to the field. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and a strong understanding of general ledger functionalities.

What you'll do

We are actively seeking candidates for a full-time exempt position. As a critical team member, the successful candidate will be part of the centralized Payroll Team while being responsible for analyzing payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and enhancing payroll processes. In addition, this position will provide expertise on payroll regulations, including US Federal, State wage/hour regulations (FLSA) and best practices.

  • Payroll Analysis - Analyze payroll data and processes to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution for all employees.
  • General Ledger Reconciliations -Conduct monthly reconciliations of payroll-related accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Payroll Accruals- Oversee payroll accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.
  • Project Management - Collaborate with the Payroll Supervisor to manage ongoing payroll projects and initiatives.
  • External Requests - Handle requests from external business partners, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries.
  • Expat and Shadow Payroll reporting - Apply knowledge of expatriate payroll practices and manage shadow payroll processes as needed.
  • SOP Development - Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance payroll processes and training.
  • Metrics Development -Create and/or maintain payroll metrics to drive operational improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with processing teams and other internal and external partners for audits and process enhancements.
  • Reporting and Dashboards - Utilize ADP Workforce Now to generate detailed reports and dashboards for business insights.
  • SOX Compliance -Ensure adherence to SOX compliance requirements within payroll operations.
  • System Expertise - Leverage knowledge of SAP ERP and e-Time or similar financial platform/timekeeping systems to streamline processes.
Who we're looking for
  • Experience - 5-7 years of payroll experience, with a focus on payroll analysis and operations.
  • Technical Skills - Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create macros and dashboards.
  • Software Proficiency - Extensive knowledge of current ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and ADP General Ledger; SAP experience is preferred.
  • Regulatory Knowledge - Familiarity with SOX compliance and payroll-related financial regulations.
  • Analytical Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex payroll data.
  • Expatriate Knowledge - Experience with expatriate payroll processing and shadow payroll management.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
