Faculty - All Ranks - Assistant Professor / Associate Professor/ Professor (NYP- Brooklyn Methodist Hospital)

The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, invites applications for open-rank faculty positions in Orthopedic Surgery. We are currently recruiting board-certified or board-eligible orthopedic surgeons with fellowship training in the following subspecialty areas:

• Foot and Ankle Surgery
• Orthopedic Trauma Surgery
• Hip and Knee Reconstruction Surgery

These full-time academic appointments may be made at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and academic accomplishments.

Faculty members will be primarily based at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, a leading regional medical institution serving the diverse communities of Brooklyn, and a key component of Columbia's expanding network.

Responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining a busy clinical practice in your area of subspecialty
• Participating in the education and training of residents, fellows, and medical students
• Engaging in academic scholarship and research, with access to Columbia's robust resources and collaborative research community
• Collaborating with a team of full-time and voluntary faculty across the Columbia and NewYork-Presbyterian network

• M.D. or equivalent medical degree
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship-trained in one of the specified subspecialties
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York
