This posting is for a temporary, part-time Research Data Tech I.

The RA will join the Amazon Research Consortium and work with an international interdisciplinary team of scientists. The RA will be responsible for the following tasks:



  • Conduct a literature review and draft a summary of health applications for climate reanalysis products
  • Conduct a multi variate clustering analysis for ecoregion detection of climate reanalysis and land cover data for select Central American countries
  • Perform a statistical analysis to evaluate malaria vector presence in defined ecoregions
  • Draft methods and results that summarize all findings for a scientific journal



Minimum Requirements:

Work requires knowledge of basic mathematical, data collection and research principles normally acquired through two years post-secondary education.

Anticipated Pay Range:

Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position at full, time, 40 hours a week as USD $ $18 per hour to USD $ $26.49 per hour.
