Position Summary/ Department Summary:
The Network Strategy and Business Development team supports growth initiatives, including the strategy, affiliations and programs, for Boston Children's Hospital efforts to drive expanded Network presence and strengthen collaboration with healthcare systems in support of expanding access to specialty pediatric care. As a member of this high-performing strategy and business development team, the Project Coordinator II will provide analytic, research, program and contracts management support across the team. This is a hybrid position with 1 day/week onsite in Brookline/Boston.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates the day-to-day activities of the department, including setting up records systems for external contracts, organizing meetings and monitoring and tracking of the department project and contract portfolio. Works with Director, Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, or similar roles,, assists in developing a comprehensive workflow process for projects. Works with team to understand and assist with tracking all work, task and project assignments.
  • Complete assigned project activities with direct supervision. This will include the following steps: gather data requests and schedules; maintain document control and database management; organize and track project activities, assignment tasks, meetings and communications; communicate with team members, stakeholders and leadership; and develop and maximize improvement plans.
  • Compose, edit, and deliver written and verbal communications, including contract elements, to key internal and external stakeholders, Senior Leadership and associates at all levels of the organization as needed. Develop project related deliverables with direct supervision, including improvement action plans, process workflow diagrams, PowerPoint presentations, status reports, communication plans, meeting minutes, project plans/timelines. Facilitate customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop material for communication about the department and updates for the department projects and contract portfolio. Acts as liaison with the relevant work groups and clinical areas. Develop linkages between these areas, including with the Office of General Counsel. Acts as liaison with other department and regulatory agencies and consultants on analyses of financial, clinical or administrative data.
  • Oversees and facilitates the production of training materials, newsletters and other appropriate products generated by the project. Actively contribute to staff development and internal departmental process improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
  • 1-2+ years' experience in administrative support and/or projects related role required.
  • Previous contracts coordination and/or management experience preferred.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
