The Line Leader will provide leadership for the Medina Convertible or Lam Line with (4) direct reports. He/she will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a passion for safety while driving a zero accident culture, zero customer complaints, employee engagement, impeccable housekeeping and drive the change needed to meet business objectives. As the OMC, a Operations Maintenance Coordinator isthe main connection between the operations and maintenance teams, primarily byscreening, prioritizing, and scheduling maintenance work ordersto ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime. OMC responsibilities: Ensures requests are clear, coordinating maintenance schedules with production, and acting as a single point of contact between departments to maintain equipment efficiently. Key job functions
- Work order management:Filter and prioritize all maintenance requests, reject duplicate or unnecessary work, and return unclear requests to the sender for more detail.
- Scheduling and coordination:Coordinate maintenance schedules with production to avoid conflicts, schedule crew work, arrange for necessary equipment and materials, and set work priorities.
- Communication and collaboration:Serve as the primary communication channel between operations and maintenance, inform relevant parties about job status (including delays or rejections), and foster a collaborative environment.
Metrics: Data and reporting:Produce and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), review work records for improvement opportunities, and ensure the work order backlog is clean. Leading and Developing Talent Will have responsibility to:

Job Requirements Experience:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of manufacturing experience; making shingles in the roofing industry is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering is strongly preferred.
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Able to engage and care for others starting with Safety
- Leadership skills and experience gained from on the job and formal training in team leadership, facilitation, problem solving, diversity, safety, waste elimination andlean manufacturing
- TPM and Lean Manufacturing experience required.
- Six Sigma Certification preferred.
