Lenovo is seeking an experienced Sr. Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive the successful delivery of complex AI systems, applications, and model development projects. As a Sr. TPM, you will serve as a bridge between multiple technical teams, product management, and stakeholders, operating in a fast-paced, globally distributed company. Crucially, this role requires a strong technical foundation - the ability to understand and articulate complex technical details is essential for effective communication and problem-solving with our engineering and data science teams. Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution: Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.

• Technical Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and stakeholders, to drive project delivery. Understand the big-picture and the system level to answer questions and clarify requirements.

• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with technical projects, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

• Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, progress, and issues.

• Project Monitoring and Control: Track project metrics, identify deviations from plans, and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: 12+ years of experience in technical program management, software development, or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.

• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development methodologies, technical architectures, and industry trends, with the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts related to AI/ML, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Project Management Skills: Proven experience with project management tools (e.g. Atlassian), techniques, and methodologies (e.g. Agile). PMP, PRINCE2, or another project management certification is a plus.
