Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and standardization of processes (e.g., templates, views) for model-based readiness reviews using digital models and MBSE tools to address various stakeholder needs and highlight the value of MBSE.
- Provide Enterprise Systems Engineering and Integration capabilities to a national intelligence acquisition and operations organization within the Intelligence-Space Programs segment at Arcfield.
- Support full life-cycle acquisition for complex national systems architecture across all mission domains.
- Collaborate with government enterprise systems engineers, Acquisition Offices (AOs), and both government and contractor stakeholders to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Assist Capability Program Managers with strategic planning for future capability acquisition and integration into the enterprise baseline.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 12 to 15 years of experience with a BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with an MS/MA or 10+ years with a PhD.
- Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Proven ability to facilitate Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Engineering working groups to assess the maturity of engineering artifacts, CONOPS, interfaces, and architecture products.
- Strong leadership skills across multiple technical and matrixed teams.
- Demonstrated business acumen and professional interaction within work environments.
- Expertise in applying MBSE principles to major system acquisitions in GEOINT and Enterprise Resiliency domains.
- Proactive self-starter with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with large acquisition systems engineering efforts, methods, and processes.
- Knowledge of space/ground/communication systems and overall space and ground architecture.
- Proven experience in identifying user and enterprise needs/requirements, gap analysis, and assessment.
- Experience with Requirements Engineering, CONOPs development, and system integration for End-to-End GEOINT Systems Engineering.
- Understanding and operating effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and Government authority structures.
- Passion for learning, helping others, and contributing to mission success.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with the System Engineering "V" model and agile acquisition processes.
- Experience developing and presenting briefings to senior-level customer stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) customers.
- In-depth knowledge of Mission Planning, Control, or Processing functions supporting space and ground architecture.
- Experience in requirements engineering, CONOPS development, verification, testing, and system integration for End-to-End Systems Engineering.
- Proficiency with industry MBSE tools and modeling methodologies for producing systems engineering models.
- Experience using Confluence and Jira tools.
- Experience with Agile Development, SAFE Agile system development methods.
- Practical application and knowledge of UML/SysML modeling languages within an MBSE framework.
- OCSMP Level 1, 2, or 3 certifications.
