ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To ensure continuous operation of the flow molding process, the flow mold operator will ensure proper and accurate start-up and shut down of the flow mold extruder, cooling system functionality, and the product molds are in working order.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Requires education generally equivalent to a high school diploma, this is an entry level position. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. OTHER QUALIFICATION: Requires the ability to operate various hand tools and equipment. Must be able to operate a manual and powered pallet jack and the ability to pass forklift operator course and drive a forklift. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision. This position works 12-hour shift, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Thursday.
