HDR is looking for a Right of Way Realty Specialist to join our Transportation Business Group in NC.

Primary Responsibilities
* Assist clients with many aspects of real estate development, feasibility, purchase, appraisal, relocation, finance, costs, tax effects and project execution.
* Assist Project Managers and coordinate among team members focused on real estate, relocation and economic issues.
* Work directly with clients as needed.
* Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
* A minimum of 5 years' experience with public agency acquisitions
* NC Real Estate license
* A broad-based range of right-of-way experience across diverse markets with an understanding of Uniform and Non-Uniform Act right-of-way procedures
* Possess knowledge of area clients and business environments related to right-of-way services
* Strong communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* GIS knowledge
* Microsoft Teams knowledge

  • Local candidates are preferred
  • *LI-SM1
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and Project
  • ARGUS and ECONPAK software a plus
  • Ability to write legal descriptions
  • Have the knowledge to draft the following types of real estate documents: deed, easement and lease
  • Must have experience and procedure using purchase property as an eminent domain purchase
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
