The Role: Manages the overall success of marketing promotions and advertising as designated by the Director of Marketing and oversees all promotional activity in conjunction with the Marketing Team and the Bally Rewards Club Reps. Responsibilities:
- Manage all creative requests with design team including all promotions, F&B specials, invitation only events, holidays, etc. Creative includes posters, backlits, rack cards, digital, direct mail pieces, monthly mail, etc.
- Attention to detail when proofing creative, copy and variable data on advertising, mail and collateral.
- Website upkeep of monthly promotions, hours of operation, photos, etc.
- Responsible for e-mail creative, uploads, proofing and scheduling
- Execute all promotions from creative start to run on promotional date. Generate ideas, create rules and matrix, create copy, all collateral, run/assist with drawings and all giveaways, develop Promotional Stage displays, set up promotions on kiosk system, etc.
- Track all inventory including gift giveaway items and all items sold at the Bally Rewards Players Club.
- Available for administrating all promotions during the week and personally overseeing all major promotions during the weekend/holidays.
- Responsible for the timely, creative and equitable resolution of internal and external customer complaints, inquiries and compliments.
- Ensures that materials, merchandise, gifts and other tools are available for the success of each promotion.
- Manage, schedule, and train Marketing Coordinators and Players Club team.
- Responsible for working with print and mail house to ensure all materials are ordered, delivered and accounts are paid.
- Coordinates activities to promote the casino to the general public. May include direct mail, telemarketing, advertising, publicity, community relations, and special events.
- Ensures that all departments and team members are well versed in all our promotions and daily guest benefits.
- Book and manage entertainment for casino floor when requested.
- Attend property Management meetings and communicate upcoming marketing information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university in marketing or related field; five years progressively more challenging leadership roles in marketing or operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in multiple communication channels including direct mail, e-mail and social media preferred
- Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
