Dollar Bank is hiring for a Staff Auditor. In this role, you will be a part of Dollar Bank's Internal Audit organization providing assurance to senior management and the Board of Directors. You will also be engaged in providing advisory services to management as the bank seeks to provide value to its customers, employees, and the community. Successful candidates will have a growth mindset and be as enthusiastic about their development as they are about collaboratively improving risk management at the Bank. You understand the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards, concepts of effective design and operation of controls, have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and can communicate and collaborate effectively with team members. This is a hybrid position.

Required Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field. Equivalent experience within the banking industry is acceptable.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Proficiency in the use of a computer and Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is required.

Attention to details and critical-thinking skills.

Project management and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in audit, risk management or a related field.

Professional Certification such as Certified Internal Auditor - CIA, Certified Fraud Examiner - CFE, Certified Public Accountant - CPA, Certified Risk Manager - CRM.

Knowledge of analytic tools and/or audit software.

Knowledge of Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the Code of Ethics developed by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

Principal Activities and Duties:

Support the execution of the internal audit plan by performing financial (including Sarbanes-Oxley Act Section 404), compliance, and operational audits / special projects.

Assess risk and controls, and identify process efficiencies, productivity improvements and/or cost reduction opportunities.

Consistent with department standards, execute and document audit testing, in a manner that provides clear explanations of procedures performed, exceptions identified, and conclusions reached.

Present audit findings to in-charge auditor for the development of reports and recommendations.

Develop and maintain effective and professional working relationship with the Bank staff in audit areas.

All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar Bank's risk management program. Compliance with regulatory laws and company procedures is a required component of all position descriptions.
