The Health Marketing Coordinator supports HDR's Health Sector leadership and marketing team by helping execute internal communications, events, research, and business development activities that advance the sector's strategic priorities. This role provides hands-on experience across multiple facets of marketing, communications, and operations. It offers an excellent foundation for career growth within HDR.

Key Responsibilities:

Communications & Content Development

* Support the Strategic Sector Manager (SSM), and Communications Specialists in executing internal and external communications that align with the Health Sector's strategic vision.

* Draft and edit content such as internal news stories, social media posts, project write-ups, articles, and marketing collateral.

* Assist with award submissions, including gathering materials, coordinating reviews, and finalizing entries.

* Prepare PowerPoint presentations, graphics, and templates for internal and external use.

* Help maintain consistency of tone, branding, and message across all communications.

Event & Conference Coordination

* Track deadlines for industry events, conferences, and abstract submissions and maintain a shared event calendar.

* Collaborate with the graphics team to create collateral, presentations, and social media assets for event promotion.

* Support planning and logistics for sponsored events, client receptions, and speaking engagements.

* Coordinate travel details, attendee materials, and post-event communications.

Sector Operations & Research

* Research - Assist the Client Development Director, Health and Health Principals with market and client research that informs health sector business development strategies.

* SharePoint Page - maintain and regularly update content on the internal health sector SharePoint page and additional associate pages.

* Health Sector Presentations - help coordinate internal presentation series (Health Speaker Series, Vital Design Webinars, etc.)

* Reports - Support preparation of reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for Executive Committee meetings and other leadership briefings.

Strategic Initiatives Support

* Provide logistical and administrative support for Health Sector Strategic Initiatives such as Regenerative Design, Academic Health, Health-Oriented Design, and Playing to Win.

* Schedule and coordinate meetings, draft agendas, capture meeting notes, and track action items.

* Develop visual collaboration materials (Mural or Whiteboard boards) to support brainstorming sessions.

* Conduct background research and assist with preparing materials for initiative leaders.

Industry Relationship Management

* Support ongoing relationships with HDR's key industry partners and associations.

* Monitor membership renewals and coordinate payments with accounting.

* Schedule recurring check-ins with partner organizations and maintain contact databases.

Preferred Qualifications

* Excellent organization and time-management skills with strong attention to detail

* 1 year experience in marketing or related experience

* Clear and professional written and verbal communication

* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate with cross-functional teams

* Interest in marketing, communications, architecture, or healthcare design

* Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field

* Experience with Adobe InDesign

* Experience with SharePoint, Mural/Whiteboard, or similar collaboration tools

* Prior experience in a professional services, A/E/C, or healthcare environment

* Local candidates preferred

Required Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) New York: $61,163 - $87,375 New Jersey: $56,270 - $80,385 Colorado: $53,823 - $76,890 Minnesota: $51,377 - $73,395
