JOB TITLE: Warehouse Process Technician JOB TYPE: Skilled Level General Labor LOCATION: Hanover, Pennsylvania GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION The Warehouse Process Technician, under the general supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, is responsible for providing assistance in duties related to safe, efficient and continuous operation of warehouse processing machinery. Leads direct activities for production focus on people, equipment, and process. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Coordinates with all supervisors and coordinators with issues of finished goods. * Does X-Ray checks and coordinates with QA personnel of any issues. * Reads and prints the production schedule to be able to program data for proper palletization of the finished product. * Programs and assigns product into HMI computer system for Auto Palletization. * Continuous monitor of Robots and lane adjustment for proper palletization. * Reads and understand the continuous operation of all robots and rails cars. Lane adjustments, cell data, stacking pattern, and perform necessary programming for proper stacking. * Sends out shift reports to maintenance, managers, supervisors, and fellow warehouse process technicians. * Makes stacking patterns for new products. * Monitors and fixes Aggard and Arpac machines. * Supplies pallets, slip sheets, stretch film, and etc for area. * Coordinates with warehouse and packaging room with staffing needs when Auto palletization down for maintenance. * Uses the computer system to include both SAP and the RF system to correctly account for inventory created. * Uses power equipment to stage and deliver materials and finished product to appropriate locations. * Utilizes automated and/or manual material handling equipment. * Identifies needs and inspects quality of materials used in the palletization process; including pallets, shrink-wrap, labels, etc. and the finished product; including proper case labeling, proper pallet labeling, and satisfactory product integrity. * Monitors auto-palletizing and shrink-wrap machines to ensure safe and efficient operation of the equipment. * Troubleshoots system problems and administers minor maintenance repairs or notifies appropriate maintenance personnel. * Participates in all clean-up activities, which may include, but are not limited to: sanitation responsibilities, mopping, * Communicates with fellow employee's on the production line to ensure the orders are kept in stop/batch sequence and placed onto the conveyor by load number. * Communicates with maintenance department on machine conditions and status of the robotic system. * Ensures the accurate processing of all quality holds, transfers and damages based on company policies and procedures. * Acts as liaison with quality department to process QA hold product and manage in the directed manner. * Manages SAP ERP system transactions and required record retention documents in accordance with published standards. * Keeps work area clean and removes trash from work area floor. Stores supplies in designated areas. Maintains aisles/exits clear and free from obstructions. * Practices and adheres to appropriate safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection. Adheres to all regulatory requirements (OSHA, FDA, DOT, EPA, etc.). * May submit maintenance work orders. * Trains new employees in Warehousing/Receiving practices. * Maintains warehouse business during leader's absence. * Follows Leader Standard Work activities. * Adheres to and is a leader in all regulatory issues (OSHA, FDA, DOT, EPA, etc.). * Practices and adheres to appropriate safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection; keeps work area clean; stores supplies in designated areas; keeps work area aisles/exits clear and free from obstructions; removes trash from work area floor; follows instructions for safe lifting/carrying of various sizes, shapes, and weights; identifies/reports defective equipment; reports all job-related injuries to supervision. * Mandatory overtime may be required. * May fill in for supervisor level as needed. * May perform other duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred, but not required. Experience: 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
