Temple University's Strategic Marketing and Communications Department is searching for a Social Media Specialist! Become a part of the Temple family and you will have access to the following: Salary: $52,000-$57,000 Position Summary The Social Media Specialist, under the direction of the Sr. Associate Director of Social Media, assists with creating, managing and deploying social media strategies that continually foster a sense of community among the University's key audiences. These strategies are aligned with institutional goals and strategic priorities of increasing enrollment, retaining current students, engaging alumni, and elevating the Temple University brand and reputation. Temple University's Social Media Specialist must value collaboration across teams and ensures their work aligns with the division's integrated marketing efforts and audience engagement strategies. Performs other duties as assigned. Please include links to examples of current professional social media work, specifically caption writing. Required Education and Experience Required Skills and Abilities Essential Duties This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement after successful completion of introductory period (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
