Visualization - Industrial Design
This role provides high-quality 2D and 3D visualization support across Industrial Design, UX, Marketing, and Communications teams. The ideal candidate will create visually compelling assets for use in concept development, internal presentations, product reviews, and external campaigns. The work includes building accurate 3D renderings, VR assets, and print-ready files, while collaborating closely with design and partner teams to ensure visual consistency and technical fidelity.
Scope:
* Create 3D renderings for use in Marketing and Communications campaigns.
* Develop visualization assets for internal design reviews and concept development.
* Prepare high-fidelity rendering master files with accurate CMF (Color, Material, Finish).
* Set up VR files for immersive design studio reviews.
* Deliver both digital and physical presentation materials (e.g., slides, posters).
* Document and organize visualization assets and workflows.
* Collaborate with partner teams to define project scope and visualization needs.
* Provide regular updates and communicate visualization challenges to key stakeholders.
Required:
* Proficiency in 3D visualization tools such as VRED, Cinema4D, or Keyshot. (VRED required).
* Strong understanding of CMF representation in rendered assets.
* Experience with VR file preparation and setup for internal reviews.
* Ability to produce high-quality renderings and animations for presentations and campaigns.
* Skilled in retouching both renderings and photography.
* Familiar with digital & print file prep for presentations and marketing use.
* Competent in organizing and managing large sets of visualization assets.
* Capable of producing documentation (e.g., slides, sketches) to support visual development.
Pluses:
* Expertise in file size optimization and lightweight asset management.
* Ability to convert CAD files into polygon mesh models at various fidelity levels.
* Strong texture mapping and UV setup skills.
* Experience supporting UX design teams with 3D content.
* Familiarity with creating print-ready visuals for high-resolution posters.
* Experience using asset tracking or documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, version control).
* Knowledge of design review workflows involving VR and physical prototypes.
Estimated Min Rate: $40.00
Estimated Max Rate: $55.00/hr+. Depends on work experience
