Overview

Manage the day to day operations of the restaurant and room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner periods as directed by the Outlets Manager. Direct the day to day operations of the bar operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Restaurant, Room Service, Bar, and Banquet departments, ensuring smooth coordination between all food and beverage outlets.
  • Plan, organize, and execute banquet events, ensuring service excellence, proper staffing, and adherence to event specifications.
  • Interview, hire, train, develop, and retain associates within the outlets. Recommend and conduct performance evaluations, resolve associate concerns, and recommend disciplinary action or termination when appropriate.
  • Motivate and engage team members to promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Assist with the implementation of company programs and manage operations to ensure compliance with LSOPs, SOPs, safety standards, and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Monitor and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction across all outlets and banquet functions.
  • Investigate and analyze operations and guest feedback to identify trends, resolve issues, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Forecast, implement, monitor, and control the various outlet and banquet budgets, including labor, food, beverage, supplies, and equipment, to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
  • Ensure adequate staffing, inventory, and supplies are maintained to meet business demands and deliver top-quality service.
  • Partner with the culinary and sales teams to ensure seamless banquet and event execution.
  • Monitor and enforce maintenance and sanitation standards across all food and beverage areas and equipment to protect assets and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest feedback, concerns, and opportunities to enhance the overall dining and event experience.
  • Comply with attendance rules and maintain regular, reliable availability.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • More than two years of post-high school education.

  • Two years of full employment in a related position with this company or other organization(s).

  • Hotel experience preferred.

  • Requires thorough knowledge of the restaurant/hotel practices and procedures in order to perform non-repetitive analytical work. May require knowledge of policies and procedures and the ability to determine course of action based on these guidelines.

  • Supervision/ management communication skills are required.

  • Requires ability to investigate and analyze current activities or information and make logical conclusions and recommendations. Ability to make occasional decisions which are generally guided by established policy and procedures.

  • Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.

Compensation

Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $53,000.00 Hourly Tipped/Service Charge Eligible? No Discretionary Performance Bonus Eligible? No
