The Grant Specialist will work collaboratively with Cell Biology faculty, research teams, central institutional departments and external stakeholders on managing a diverse portfolio of research projects and providing guidance on funding strategies. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for submitting RPPRs (assist PI with completion of RPPR in eRA Commons, prepare annualbudget, submit continuation record in Research Navigator, coordinate final submission withSponsored Research Administration (SPA) Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree in Business, Health Administration or related field, with a minimum of 2 years of progressive leadership experience in an academic medical center, in government or other significant health-related non-profit; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Successful candidate must have an understanding of policies and procedures to ensure that research practices are in accordance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills are essential to interact effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders and sponsors. Candidate must have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong ability to multi-task. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with management of NIH grants. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $64,350.00 - $75,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
