Taxable Entity ALUTIIQ LOGISTICS & MAINTENANCE SVS LLC Job Title Warehouse Specialist Location FL Pensacola NAS IAM 2902 - Pensacola, FL 32508 US (Primary) Category Transportation Distribution and Logistics Job Type Full-time Typical Pay/Range $28.93 per hour Education High School Diploma or GED Travel None Security Clearance Required: None POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): Alutiiq Logistics & Maintenance Services, LLC (ALMS) has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Specialist at Naval Air Station in Pensacola, FL.The Warehouse Specialist provides necessary support to operate and maintain the warehouse facilities. Work involved is typical of normal warehouse operations. Verifies materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages Run inventory and reordering reports Attend weekly meetings Field phone call and emails from co-worker, suppliers and transport centers Produce shipping labels and schedule package pickups for employees from outlaying facilities Package and ship goods for JAMS business purposes Help with disposal of obsolete and excess materials Pick up and deliver to/from various locations throughout the outlying areas Safely operate handcarts, forklifts, and vehicles Clean, maintain and schedule repairs for warehouse equipment and vehicles Keep an organized and clean warehouse facility Store property in warehouses and wareyards Issue stock items to work orders Prepare and ship outgoing items from warehouse Annual physical inventory of all warehouses and wareyards Evaluate inventory for usage and excess stock Notify responsible individual of the supplies and material upon arrival Enter receipts and information into MAXIMO and FIMS Create and maintain files for all purchased items and monthly invoices Tag property with bar codes, stock number, and asset labels Create Asset within MAXIMO and maintain changes Incumbent will at all times wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as determined by position and duties Accountable for assigned tools, materials and equipment. Ensures cleanliness and safety of shop and work areas. Unload and inspect supplies and material from various suppliers Notify buyer and supplier of shipment discrepancies Operates forklifts to retrieve and relocate materials, supplies, and equipment Interfaces with customers and responsible for customer feedback, as applicable Operates motor vehicles In accordance with company vehicle policies Compiles with applicable federal, state, United States Navy (USN) and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) environmental laws and regulations Complies with health and safely rules and procedures while performing work in a manner that enhances the safety of the work environment Processes incoming and outgoing transactions in both the government's automated work program and JAMS's computer program, and routes hard copy documentation to appropriate departments Routes materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods and ensuring locations are accurately noted in the government's automated work management system Picks up and delivers materials to correct agencies and worksites Obtains correct signatures on vendor invoices and purchase orders (PO's) Maintains inventory of stored material to identify discrepancies, etc. as directed REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalency Four (4) years' supply and/or warehouse experience Valid state driver's license Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.) Minimum 2 years' supply and/or warehouse experience Forklift Certification and minimum 2 years' Forklift experience Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses/IDs/certifications Ability to solve problems and work Independently with minimal supervision Ability to adapt to changes in technology Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional & courteous manner in diverse situations Demonstrated working ability read, write, speak and understand English Pay rate: $28.93 per hour Afognak Native Corporation and Afognak's direct and indirect subsidiaries, partnerships, joint ventures and affiliates to include Alutiiq, LLC; Afognak Commercial Group, LLC; Alutiiq Professional Consulting, LLC; and each of their respective domestic and foreign, direct and indirect subsidiaries, partnerships, joint ventures and affiliates are equal opportunity employers that do not discriminate on the basis of actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin, citizenship status, age, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, related medical conditions and lactation), sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local laws (collectively, "Protected Status").
