Student Intake & Support Coordinator

This position supports student success from enrollment through transition by providing comprehensive intake, goal setting, engagement, and transition services. This role is responsible for assessing student eligibility, assisting with orientation, and guiding students in setting and reviewing goals while identifying and addressing barriers. The coordinator actively promotes persistence through follow-up on attendance, documentation of communication, and coordination with program staff. Additionally, the position provides referrals to internal and external resources and assists students in transitioning to employment, postsecondary education, or training, ensuring all activities are accurately documented.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, psychology, student affairs, social work, or related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in student services, advising, counseling, academic support, or a related area.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to lead group presentations.

  • Proficiency with student information systems, learning management systems, and Microsoft Office.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

  • Some evening hours, especially during orientation periods, or being responsive to students' needs.
