Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications
BS with at least one year of post-baccalaureate experience.
Safe handling of amphibians and snakes, ability to work independently and in a group, proficiency with Excel, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Position Summary
Assist with field and laboratory based studies of amphibian and reptile ecotoxicology, population ecology, and conservation.

Physical Demands

  • Lift at least 50 pounds and work outdoors up to 8 hours a day
  • Attention to detail, familiarity with data entry, willingness to handle amphibians and snakes, ability to work long hours in wet and/or hot conditions.

Assists graduate students, PI, and postdoctoral fellow with research projects involving amphibian conservation ecology and general ecotoxicology studies.

Assists in maintaining remote environmental data loggers and curating associated data.

Assists with acoustic recording of amphibians to include development of AI detectors, maintenance of loggers, and regular analysis of recordings.
