EXCITING SENIOR PROJECT CHEMIST - REGULATORY TESTING POSITION Hybrid in Marietta & Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX, or New York Our client, a global leader in delivering essential testing, inspection, and certification services, is seeking a Senior Project Chemist Manager - Regulatory Testing for their consumer electronics team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and compliance of products that people use every day and shape the direction of a new service offering. As a Senior Project Chemist Manager, you will be at the forefront of regulatory testing, directly influencing the safety and quality of a vast array of electronic consumer products. You will leverage your expertise to navigate complex regulatory landscapes, guiding clients through compliance and helping them bring safer, more reliable products to market. Your work will not only protect consumers but also empower businesses to innovate responsibly and sustainably. What You'll Do:
* Lead and manage projects from inception, defining scope, developing investigation plans, and determining specifications such as cost, time, and sample requirements.
* Engage directly with clients, promoting services, addressing technical issues, explaining requirements, and negotiating project details.
* Develop and implement appropriate test programs by meticulously reviewing information, examining samples, and applying relevant industry standards.
* Conduct thorough inspections and regulatory testing, ensuring product compliance and communicating findings to clients.
* Serve as the Project Handler of record and potentially as a Reviewer of record, upholding the highest standards of integrity and accuracy.
* Maintain continuous communication with clients, providing project status updates and comprehensive reports.
* Drive continuous improvement by integrating new concepts and techniques into all aspects of project execution.
* Contribute to the development of specialized test methods and equipment, enhancing the team's capabilities.
* Analyze test programs for adequacy and sequence, ensuring robust and efficient processes.
* Potentially coordinate and perform file reviews and represent the organization at industry events. Must-Have Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related scientific field.
* 3-5 years of hands-on experience conducting regulatory tests, including expertise with industry-standard regulations like RoHS and REACH and testing of electronic products via chemistry and other testing
* Proficiency with X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis.
* Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client interaction and report generation. #LI-RL3 #app
