8:30am to 5:00pm (fully on site in Fraser, MI during training period, then option to WFH 1-2 days per week)

Job Overview
The Contracts Specialist is responsible for supporting the preparation, administration, and management of contracts across their full lifecycle. This role ensures that contractual agreements are accurate, compliant, and aligned with organizational objectives. Working alongside the Senior Contracts Specialist and cross-functional teams, the Contracts Specialist facilitates the RFI/RFP process, assists with contract drafting and negotiations, and oversees the administration of existing agreements. The role plays a key part in mitigating risk, ensuring compliance, and supporting business operations to help ensure favorable contract P&M outcomes.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
* Provide support to Director of National Accounts and team
* Compile all documents and data required to obtain a Contract (e.g., GPO, IDN, Local) and submit as required (i.e., via email or portal upload) on or before the deadline.
* Provide necessary data and support for the negotiation process with GPOs, IDNs, and Hospitals.
* Prepare/complete as needed all documents required to obtain IDN or Local Contracts.
* Manage GPO contract change requests/updates/deletions.
* Work with Sr. Contract Specialist to provide necessary field launch tools for new GPO/IDN agreements.
* Customer facing conversations to solidify and expand Healthmark relationships within the GPO/IDN.
* Notify the Sales Support Team when new GPO contracts are implemented/renewed and develop and provide the necessary launch tools.
* Work collaboratively with CS, AR, and the Collections departments for customer pricing discrepancies on items that are on an agreement.
* Provide Insight and guidance in IDN discussions/negotiations including VAT key strategies.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Ability to read and understand written and verbal job instructions and procedures.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Good conference call / virtual meeting technique.
* Organization and Prioritization Skills.
* Critical Thinking Skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* Presentation Skills.
* Highly proficient in all Microsoft software programs, including Word, Excel, Power Point.
* Ability to multitask effectively.
* Management/Supervisory experience is desirable.
* Uses Computer, Printer, Copier, Fax Machine, Scanner.

Minimum Requirements:
* College Degree - 4-year Undergraduate or equivalent experience.
* Healthcare or Customer Service Experience - 4 years or greater experience, AND/OR,
* Acute Care Supply Chain - 5 years minimum experience (Responsible for GPO/vendor contract negotiations within Surgical Services/CS/Endoscopy).

Quality Requirements:

* Must have the education and experience to understand and comply with U.S. and Worldwide medical device regulations (As applicable to your job function).

* Adopt the "Beyond Compliance Quality Culture" in the work environment; always meet and exceed requirements.

Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions:
* Minimum 40 hours per week.
* Must be able to Travel/Fly.
* Able to sit for long periods of time.

The salary for this position is a minimum of $65k and a maximum of $75k annually.
