Collections Associate - CCA

The Collections Associate for our CCA (Caribbean Central America) Organization drives the credit to cash cycle to facilitate product sales for TD SYNNEX, by analyzing the credit worthiness of customer(s) and their ability to pay for goods and services.

Responsible for the collection and management of the accounts receivable of the product sales released to those customers.

• Analyze customer financials utilizing financial data (i.e. balance sheets, income statements) (5%)

• Analyze Trade payment reports regarding customer payments patterns (5%)

• Analyzes security agreements, personal guarantees and UCC (Uniform Commercial Code) filings (5%)

• Manage the accounts receivable for specified customer base, including collections and account reconciliation (i.e. variances) (25%)

• Manages credit lines for specified market or customer base (15%)

• Manage customer order release based on credit lines and account receivable status (30%)

• Solve for root cause issues that disrupts credit to cash cycle (i.e. shipping, order, billing issues) through partnership with sales, operational departments and/or customer (15%)

Other Duties & Responsibilities:

• Additional duties as assigned

• Meets attendance and punctuality standards

• High School Diploma required.

• 1+ Years of relevant work experience (Collections and/or Billing)

• Proficient in English (level B2 or higher) required.

• Review billing data for errors or inconsistencies.

• Ensure all charges are supported with proper documentation.

• Work with collections or accounts receivable to follow up on overdue invoices.

• Escalate payment issues when necessary.

• Upload customer invoices to client billing portals in a timely and accurate manner.

• Manage invoice submissions through various customer/vendor portals, ensuring compliance with client requirements.

• Maintain and update billing information by uploading invoices into designated online platforms.

• Contact customers to follow up on overdue invoices and secure timely payments.

• Maintain regular communication with clients to resolve payment delays.

• College's Degree with Accounting / Finance Field of Study preferred.

• Professional environment (Remote).

• Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.

• Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities.
