Chem-Aqua - Engineering Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactiveEngineering Technicianto support our engineering and installation teams for high purity water systems in healthcare facilities. This role involves assisting with layout drawings, conducting pre-installation calls, troubleshooting equipment, and providing technical support across various project phases.

Key Responsibilities



  • Conductpre-installation calls with customers, contractors, and sales team to ensure readiness and compliance with water system requirements.
  • Collaborate with customers and contractors to prepare and reviselayout and installation drawingsusing CAD tools.
  • Provide guidance to contractors, facilities, and sales team regarding equipment setup, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, modifications, and service records.
  • Support quality assurance efforts to ensure water systems meetappropriate industry standardsand internal specifications.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.



Qualifications



  • Minimum associate degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical or engineering support role preferred.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Good communication skills for customer and team interactions.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as needed (10 to 20%Travel).


Preferred Skills



  • Familiarity withwater purification equipment / systems (Reverse Osmosis, Deionization, Softeners).
  • Experience with wiring, sensors, and control systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and sales team
