Position Title: Maintenance Inventory Specialist Wage: $30.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday Join our maintenance team as a Temporary Maintenance Inventory Specialist and play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly! In this hands-on role, you'll be the backbone of our maintenance department by managing critical parts inventory, organizing preventive maintenance documentation, and ensuring technicians have the tools and supplies they need-right when they need them. If you're detail-driven, tech-savvy, and thrive in a fast-paced shop environment, this temporary position offers a great opportunity to make an impact while supporting a high-performing maintenance team Maintenance Inventory Specialist Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate inventory of all maintenance parts, tools, and supplies - Receive, label, and store incoming shipments in proper locations - Track usage, perform regular cycle counts, and update inventory system - Assist in organizing and maintaining the maintenance shop and inventory areas - Create and maintain records, including invoices, receipts, and inventory logs - Ensure all safety protocols are followed in the storage and handling of parts - Collaborate with maintenance technicians and supervisors to improve PM documentation Requirements For Maintenance Inventory Specialist: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in inventory control or maintenance preferred - Familiarity with preventive maintenance and mechanical terminology a plus - Strong computer skills, including experience with inventory and maintenance tracking software - Excellent organizational and communication skills - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse/shop environment - Forklift experience or certification is a plus QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
