SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES

It is the responsibility of the Senior Applications Engineer to take ownership of all tasks and challenges that they encounter in the operation of their assigned position. The Senior Applications Engineer role will provide engineering and development support for Archer GRC system activities related to system software, performance, and problem determination requiring communication and coordination with vendors, business clients, and management. The role will also provide technical input to management decision making in the areas of Archer GRC software and performance. This is a fully remote position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Define detailed technical requirements, analyze and design solutions for complex projects, and develop procedures and workflows to support key objectives.
  • Monitor and ensure that application support metrics and SLAs are met.
  • Conduct training and knowledge transfer to enhance technology adoption.
  • Collaborate with business partners, vendors, and cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Test, qualify, document, and implement software releases and configuration changes; oversee troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis to minimize business impact.
  • Architect and review technical solutions for scalability, security, and performance; drive continuous improvement initiatives for reliability, maintainability, and automation.
  • Research emerging technologies and provide recommendations, while developing and enforcing best practices, coding standards, and documentation protocols.
  • Train and mentor junior team members and represent engineering perspectives in meetings and project planning sessions.

Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or in a technology related field, OR equivalent through a combination of education and/or technology experience
  • Experience: 10+ years working with Applications and Support (preferably Banking applications) in a production environment
  • Certifications/Specific Knowledge: Experience with MS Suite of Applications to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Prior experience with support request systems preferred (ex. Archer)

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES

Required annual compliance training, New Employee Orientation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines
  • Sitting for extended periods of time

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered.

Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.

In accordance with Colorado law: Colorado pay for this position is anticipated to be between $113,320.00 - $181,018.00 , actual offers to be determined based on applicant's skills, experience and education.
