Job Summary:

As a Program Manager on the New Product Development (NPD) team at Impossible Foods, you'll play a critical role in bringing our innovation pipeline to life and improving our in-market product portfolio. You'll manage cross-functional programs from concept through commercialization - navigating commercialization and stage-gate processes, coordinating with stakeholders across R&D, Supply, Operations, Demand, and Brand Management, and ensuring launches are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality. In addition to program ownership, you'll also help drive process improvements that make our workflows more efficient, scalable, and collaborative. This is a highly visible role requiring strong organizational skills, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining a sharp focus on delivery. You'll report directly to the Director of NPD.

Program & Project Management

* Support the development and launch of new products and in-market product changes from concept through commercialization.

* Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery against roadmap objectives.

* Act as the cross-functional quarterback, ensuring alignment across R&D, Supply, Demand, Operations, and Brand Management.

* Partner with Brand Management to translate strategic priorities into executable launch plans.

* Establish clear, objective success criteria for trials, development, and commercialization in partnership with technical and demand teams.

* Provide regular program updates to leadership and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation plans.

* Conduct post-launch reviews to capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for future improvement.

Process & Tool Improvements

* Identify gaps and inefficiencies in program management workflows and recommend solutions.

* Support initiatives to improve tools, templates, and reporting dashboards that streamline program execution.

* Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance collaboration and transparency throughout the development cycle.

Basic Qualifications

* Passion for Impossible Foods' mission and sustainability.

* 5+ years of relevant work experience in program or project management.

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

* Experience in the food, beverage, or CPG industry.

* Exceptional project management skills - highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

* Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify complex information and present it effectively.

* Data-driven mindset with a solid understanding of COGS and pricing dynamics.

* Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience managing both innovation and renovation programs in a CPG environment.

* Proficiency in Smartsheet or other project management tools.

* Familiarity with stage-gate processes and commercialization within manufacturing environments.

* Demonstrated success implementing process improvements and scalable program management practices.
