Intern - Power BI Developer

Quartz is seeking one intern to join our Consulting Analytics team as a Power BI Developer Intern, from January - December 2026. This paid internship will offer valuable experience and growth opportunities to prepare you for the next steps in a career in the Health Insurance industry. You will participate and learn important skills in real-world situations that can be applied to your career beyond the classroom to include, but not be limited to:

• Technical Abilities: Power BI, Power Automate, Sharepoint
• Health Insurance Industry Knowledge: products, regulations, competitors, recent news
• Professional Skills: communication, time management, workplace etiquette
• Examples of Possible Tasks:

• • Creation of job aides
  • Process licensing and security requests
  • Review processes and provide recommendations to automate/streamline
  • Design and build interactive dashboards and reports
  • Writing DAX formulas
  • Clean, transform and prepare data from various sources
  • Assist with maintenance, updates and troubleshooting of existing Power BI solutions

• Demonstrated interest in Power BI Development as a possible career path
• Ability to work one full calendar year (January 2026 - December 2026); 10-20 hours/week during the school year and 40 hours/week during the summer months
• Seeking a student pursuing an Associates or Bachelors degree and Graduating between May 2026 and May 2027
• Preferred Majors: Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Information Systems or Related Majors
• Must live within a 3-hour radius of Madison, WI and be willing to travel to headquarters from June to August

Hardware and equipment will be provided by the company, but candidates must have access to high-speed, non-satellite Internet to successfully work from home.
