Intern - Accounting & Finance

Quartz is seeking one intern to join our Accounting & Finance team from June to August 2026. This paid internship will offer valuable experience and growth opportunities to prepare you for the next steps in a career in the Health Insurance industry.

You will participate and learn important skills in real-world situations that can be applied to your career beyond the classroom to include, but not be limited to:

• Health Insurance Industry Knowledge: products, regulations, competitors, recent news
• Professional Skills: communication, time management, workplace etiquette
• Learn professional application and develop fluency in the following tools: Microsoft Office - Excel, PPT, Outlook, Word
• Exposure to Financial Accounting, Accounting Services and Financial Planning & Analysis
• Key tasks may include accounts payable, treasury, journal entries, report preparation, financial analysis and workpaper preparation

• Demonstrated interest in Accounting as a possible career path
• Ability to work 40 hours a week from June to August 2026
• Seeking a student pursuing an Associates or Bachelors degree and Graduating between May 2026 and May 2027
• Completion of at least 1 accounting course prior to the start of the internship
• Preferred Major: Accounting
• Must live within a 3-hour radius of Madison, WI and be willing to travel to headquarters from June to August

Hardware and equipment will be provided by the company, but candidates must have access to high-speed, non-satellite Internet to successfully work from home.
