Organizational System Strategy Specialist

The Opportunity:

We need somebody that is passionate about helping organizations develop effective strategies and work practices. They need to be driven to analyze organizational challenges, uncover underlying mechanisms, and support the development of proprietary strategy frameworks. Using client data from interviews, observations, and research, they will need to generate models and recommendations for strategy development, problem-solving, opportunity capture, program planning, and organizational transformation. This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on strategy for Federal defense programs. The government organizations behind these programs need support developing new technologies and services amid complex and legacy systems. We support them in capturing and aligning their visions, objectives, and practices into cohesive strategy that clearly defines how they generate value.

As an Organizational System Strategy Specialist, you will collect data about the client's opportunities, directives, mission, and current strategy. You will translate that data into tractable strategy models, actionable recommendations for objectives, and program acquisitions. You will deliver your findings and recommendations to your team and to client leaders. You will support developing the strategy tools and frameworks we use.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience with strategy development for clients

• Experience adapting strategy frameworks to client-specific needs

• Experience executing interview-based data collection and analysis

• Experience independently executing on defined objectives

• Experience building presentations in PowerPoint

• Experience giving presentations of your findings to leaders

• Knowledge of organization strategy and how it is developed

• Ability to communicate directly with senior leaders

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• 3+ years of experience with strategy development for clients

• Experience with strategy development, especially for entrepreneurship or innovation

• Experience capturing and assessing data for strategy development

• Experience developing strategy and programs with cross-functional technical experts

• Knowledge of DoD acquisitions

• Knowledge of fundamental principles of how organizations generate value

• Knowledge of entrepreneurial strategy

• Knowledge of innovation strategy

• Bachelor's degree in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, or Organization Theory

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
