Job Title: FAA Quality Inspector Location with zip code: Irvine, CA 92606 Duration: 6 months Payrate : $28/hr. to $32/hr. on w2 without benefits Shift: 1^ST Shift: 6:30AM-3:00PM Notes: Experience with First Article inspection AS9102 (Aerospace) required Experience with mechanical inspection and GD&T knowledge required. Experience with reviewing supplier certs (Material certs, special process certs, test reports, etc). required Role & Responsibilities: Maintain accurate acceptance and rejection records and certification systems as required by specifications. Inspect parts, tools, or instruments to determine acceptance or rejection, identifying defects and preparing documentation. Conduct calibration on semi-complex measuring and test equipment, setting up conditions and documenting calibration intervals. Qualifications: Experience with First Article inspection AS9102 (Aerospace) Experience with mechanical inspection and GD&T knowledge. Preferred experience of CMM operations, background in dimensioning and tolerancing per ANSI Y 14.5. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, customer's specifications and internal drawings and procedures. Possess working knowledge of shop mathematics including trigonometry. Personal hand tools may be required. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
