As a Security Professional Chemical Access Patrol in North Chesterfield, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As an Allied Universal Security Professional specializing in access control at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned areas, managing access points, and assisting visitors and employees with professionalism and courtesy. You will interact with a variety of individuals, providing exceptional customer service while utilizing technology such as computers or tablets to document activity and support security-related operations. Pay Rate: $17.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with directions, information, and responding to inquiries related to site access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the chemical and petrochemical environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related issues and identify potential hazards.
• Document and report any observed irregularities, incidents, or breaches of site policy to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including supporting evacuation or lockdown procedures if necessary.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client site-specific policies and procedures while performing duties at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
