Program Manager, Center for Regional and Rural Connected Communities

This position serves as the Program Manager for the Center for Regional and Rural Connected Communities (CR2C2). The individual hired will be responsible for project management, as well as supporting communication with stakeholders, data collection and management, and information analysis to aid decision-making for CR2C2 and its associated laboratories, projects, and activities.

Under the direction of the CR2C2 Director, this person is also responsible for approving all project management and human resource transactions. Additionally, they will assist the Center's Business Officer with the financial operations of the Center, including the management of all departmental accounts-both University and externally funded-along with other business functions related to CR2C2 and its associated laboratories and projects.

The Center for Regional and Rural Connected Communities (CR2C2) was initially funded by U.S. Department of Transportation in 2023. CR2C2 will serve as the Region 4 University Transportation Center ( UTC) charged with addressing transportation challenges within the southeastern region of the United States.
