As a Safety Intern, you won't be stuck behind a desk-you'll be out in the field, learning directly from experienced Safety Managers and working side-by-side with crews on active construction sites. Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience:Studying for a degree in Occupational Safety or some other form of safety. Other Skills and Abilities:Must have the ability to motivate and achieve results through others in a teamatmosphere and work cooperatively with all departments and personnel of Interstates Electric & Engineering Co., Inc. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; outside weatherconditions; and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Travel Requirements: Travel will be required 80-90% of the time.
