Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator

Position Description and Purpose:

Key Essential Functions/Duties:

• Schedule and track inbound deliveries of raw materials and outbound shipments of finished goods.

• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely logistics operations.

• Prepare and verify shipping documents, bills of lading, and packing lists.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of raw materials and packaging supplies.

• Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory audits.

• Maintain accurate records in inventory management systems (e.g., ERP software).

• Ensure all logistics activities comply with food safety regulations, including HACCP and GMP.

• Maintain documentation for traceability and regulatory audits.

• Support recall readiness and product traceability initiatives.

• Work closely with production, procurement, and quality assurance teams to align logistics with production schedules.

• Resolve logistics-related issues and escalate concerns as needed.

• Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce costs.

• Participate in process improvement projects and lean initiatives.

Required Experience & Education

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school

• Three-year experience as coordinator in a fast-paced dried food warehouse environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong computer skills. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience working with Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets and Microsoft Word Processing software.

Pay Range - $26.00 to $30.00 per hour
