Summit Companies is a premier firm in the Fire Sprinkler and Fire Life Safety industry with offices throughout the U.S. Summit Fire National Consulting (SFNC) is a rapidly growing consulting engineering business and is moving to expand its operations in several locations across the US. We are seeking a Fire Protection Engineer II to provide services such as life safety code consulting, sprinkler/suppression system design, fire alarm system design and performance-based fire consulting both locally and nationally. We are flexible with the location of our consulting staff in all US regions. Engineering Functions:

Employee will occasionally be required to drive, bend, kneel, balance, lift <20lb, walk, stand, ascend/descend stairs, reach above and below shoulders, stoop, and twist. Up to 25% Travel may be required. Up to 25% travel may be required. Work Environment: Employee will consistently be required to work indoors in an office or remote setting, work alone and with others. Employees will occasionally be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, as required by company safety policies.
