As a full-time, exempt Director of Rehabilitation you will lead this department of rehabilitation services. This position provides leadership, management and oversight of the team of therapists at multiple sites across service lines that includes acute care and outpatient rehabilitation. You will lead this Rehabilitation Services Department with the assistance of one of the fastest growing and most respected rehab leadership companies in the industry supporting you in your role and career.

Responsibilities include leading the rehab team, managing KPIs with our proprietary financial and management software, completing comprehensive analyses of opportunities, managing marketing and business growth plans for all service lines, and provide clinical skills education to your team. Goals for this position include successful completion of TJC accreditation, marketing and growth of outpatient and inpatient rehab programs, and to create and manage fiscal year budget and growth projections.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited College or School of Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy with a minimum of a Bachelors' degree
  • Licensed in good standing as a physical, occupational or speech therapist in the State of Florida
  • 5+ years of recent Director of Rehabilitation experience is required, preferably in an inpatient hospital setting
  • Demonstrated teaching, relevant professional publications and involvement with professional organizations

Hospital Requirements: (may be required):

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
  • Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
  • Hepatitis B3 Series or declination
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
  • Covid-19 vaccination or weekly testing

Preferred Qualification:

  • Master's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration

If the hired individual resides in Florida (office based or telecommuting) this position requires the AHCA Level II background check (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all clinicians that have direct face to face contact with members OR employees who will have access to confidential patient data and will require renewal every five years.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
