Job Description:

Identifies information protection needs for systems and networks. Designs and develops security architectures for new and existing systems and networks. Conducts testing in an analysis lab. As this position is primarily for Federal projects interfacing with US Government, ideal candidate would have work experience in Federal space.

Responsibilities:

• Provides system architecture, design, and security solution designs for large current programs or for extremely complex bids and proposals.
• Oversees the recommendation of optimized solutions to support current and long range planning and collaborates with project leads in the selection, recommendation, and approval of tools and technologies to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and productivity
• Leads presentations/evidence to customers and certification assessors/auditors to educate or obtain approvals/cerfications on design concepts and technology recommendations.
• Coordinates the support of pre-sales, bid and proposal, and due diligence activities including site surveys, design, design review, bill of materials creation, statement of work creation, vendor negotiation and coordination, and proposal generation
• Oversees the provision of architectural and design support, penetration testing including customer briefings

Educational Requirement: Bachelor's degree in related field

Required Experience: 10+ years of experience in related field

Preferred Education: Master's degree in related field

Certification Preferred: AWS certified Security - Specialty, CISSP

Required Experience:

• Must have strong knowledge and hands-on experience with computer systems, including operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking fundamentals, system architecture, and enterprise environments (e.g., Active Directory, virtualization, cloud platforms).
• Strong experience in security practices and tools with cloud based technologies

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in AWS security services, Sonicwall, Crowdstrike, Microsoft Defender
• Experience in establishing framework for cyber security certifications like HITRUST, ISO 27001, SOC2 Type2.
• Experience in Federal project execution on security matters.
