PURPOSE:

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and ESG to lead our global initiatives across the United States, Asia, and Europe. Reporting to the Vice President of Facilities, this role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies that ensure regulatory compliance, promote a culture of safety, and advance FormFactor's ESG goals-including greenhouse gas (GHG) reductions and carbon neutrality.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Global EHS Leadership:


  • Develop and implement global EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with international, national, and local regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, REACH, RoHS, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Lead industrial hygiene programs, risk assessments, and exposure monitoring across all sites.
  • Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in workplace safety, ergonomics, and employee well-being.
  • Manage emergency response planning and crisis management protocols.


Environmental Compliance & Sustainability:


  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to air, water, waste, and chemical management.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce environmental impact, including energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste minimization.
  • Develop and track metrics for GHG emissions, energy usage, and sustainability performance.
  • Drive FormFactor's carbon neutrality roadmap and support renewable energy adoption across global sites.


ESG Strategy & Reporting:


  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define and implement ESG strategy aligned with corporate values and stakeholder expectations.
  • Lead ESG data collection, analysis, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including CDP, SASB, TCFD, and other frameworks.
  • Partner with Legal, HR, and Communications to ensure alignment on governance, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and ethical business practices.
  • Monitor global ESG trends and regulatory developments to ensure proactive compliance and innovation.


Team Leadership & Collaboration:


  • Lead and develop a high-performing global EHS and ESG team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Facilities, Operations, HR, Legal, and other departments to integrate EHS and ESG into business operations.
  • Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on risk management, sustainability, and regulatory matters.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health, or related field; master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in a global manufacturing or technology environment.
  • Proven experience in ESG strategy development and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of international EHS regulations and sustainability frameworks.
  • Experience with GHG accounting, carbon reduction strategies, and renewable energy projects.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.
