What You Do.



  • Identify key data sources and utilize them to identify trends and meaningful insights
  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of material requirements planning (MRP) and applies it to order and schedule materials
  • Gain familiarity with commonly used logistics software, such as warehouse (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS)
  • Perform analyses of financial data to support decision-making processes
  • Develop an understanding of customer order placement and the execution of deliveries
  • Utilize negotiation skills to secure favorable material pricing
  • Develop solutions for complex problems
  • Conduct external benchmarking against performance standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to create recommendations and seek feedback to improve overall recommendations
  • Sourcing / Understand the process to run Requests for Pricing (RFPs) and negotiating prices with suppliers
  • Supplier Management / Understand the process to choose, onboard and manage suppliers



Your Education and Qualifications.



  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or another related field, having completed junior year prior to the start of internship
  • Passion for learning and growing in the supply chain field
  • Possess critical thinking skills and an inquisitive mindset
  • Ability to structure presentations in a straightforward and efficient manner
  • Effective business writing skills, including the ability to provide concise synopses and recommendations
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle required. There is no mass/public transit system to/from corporate housing location to company locations
