Job Summary:

The Design Director will lead StriVectin's visual design strategy, overseeing the development and execution of design systems that drive brand consistency, innovation, and impact. This role will establish and uphold creative standards, mentor a growing design team, and ensure that StriVectin's brand identity is expressed seamlessly across packaging, digital, retail, social, and experiential channels.

  • Location: Remote
  • Salary Range: *$120,000-$140,000 + incentive bonus


*the final salary offered will depend upon factors that may include but are not limited to the quality and length of experience, education and geographic location.

Responsibilities/Essential Duties:



  • Design Leadership

    • Define and evolve the overall design language and systems for the StriVectin brand.
    • Set and uphold design standards that maintain brand consistency across all consumer touchpoints.
    • Oversee execution of creative assets including packaging, digital, print, retail displays, social, and advertising.


  • Team Leadership & Mentorship

    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, fostering creativity, collaboration, and growth.
    • Provide clear feedback, guidance, and coaching to elevate individual and team performance.
    • Champion a culture of innovation and design excellence within the creative department.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner closely with Marketing, Packaging, E-commerce, and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure alignment of creative strategy and execution.
    • Translate marketing objectives into clear, visually compelling creative solutions.


  • Creative Excellence

    • Maintain awareness of design, beauty, and cultural trends to keep StriVectin at the forefront of innovation.
    • Ensure that all creative work meets brand and business objectives, delivering both aesthetic and commercial impact.
    • Establish processes and tools to streamline design workflows and approvals.




Basic Qualifications:



  • Doctorate degree & 5 years of directly related experience

    • OR


  • Master's degree & 7 years of directly related experience

    • OR


  • Bachelor's degree & 9 years of directly related experience

    • OR


  • Associate's degree & 12 years of directly related experience

    • OR


  • High school diploma / GED & 13 years of directly related experience
  • 4 years of managerial experience directly managing people, projects, programs or resources


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 7-10 years of professional design experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (preferably in beauty, CPG, or lifestyle brands).
  • Proven track record of building and leading design teams and delivering award-winning creative.
  • Deep expertise in brand identity, packaging design, digital design, and visual systems.
  • Strong conceptual thinker with the ability to translate strategy into compelling creative.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; familiarity with motion graphics, 3D, or emerging design tools is a plus.
