Job Summary

The Strategic Initiatives Coordinator is responsible for handling segment related operational tasks as well as issue resolution in support of their sales segment. The primary objective is to ensure CDW is aligning with strategic initiatives priorities, meeting contractual commitments, exceeding service level metrics, and providing valuable support to the sales teams and customers.

What you will do

  • Assist the business by carrying out a range of operational duties on a continuous task management schedule and fulfilling adhoc requests as they arise.

  • Aid the strategic initiatives team by providing necessary administrative and coordination efforts.

  • Identify operational inefficiencies and work with the operations team to determine the root cause and solution alternatives.

  • Analyze opportunities and provide leadership with various options and the best strategy to optimize and solution.

  • Works closely with various stakeholders throughout the company, including inside sales teams, field sales, sales management, program management, finance, etc.

  • Support preorder and inventory management process and provide reporting with key performance metrics to monitor the health and performance of the inventory levels and contract SLA requirements

  • Encourage and embrace change

  • Articulates value proposition to partners and customers.

  • Develop, refine, document and communicate best practices and processes

  • Coordinate activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and exceeding expectations.

  • Takes accountability for project results

  • Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all internal clients and contacts

  • Communicate pertinent information with all stakeholders. Lead and facilitate both live and virtual meetings. Keep meetings on track, on topic, and summarizes, assigns, and publishes follow up items promptly.

  • Adapt communication style and medium to the audience's needs. Recognizes when communication efforts are ineffective and adapts tactics and/or medium as necessary

  • Travel approximately 10% of the time

What we expect of you

Minimum basic requirements

  • Associate Degree or equivalent experience

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • At least intermediate level experience and expertise with Excel

  • Ability to work well with teams and independently

  • Experience in the technology sales and services industry

  • Applicant should demonstrate solid attention to detail and a penchant for accuracy

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Possess excellent communications skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholder and various cross functional teams as well as customers

  • Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of meeting deadlines and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business

  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously and adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines

  • Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal skills

  • Capable of building effective relationships at multiple levels

  • Understanding and strong appreciation for handling confidential information

  • Ability to conduct reporting and process analysis using various onsite tools and resources

  • Ability to continually learn new technology and to keep pace with an ever-changing industry

Preferred skills, experience, and qualities needed

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Working knowledge of CDW programs such as AS400 and SPS

  • Knowledge of CDW backbone departments, responsibilities, and processes

  • Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma process improvement methodology

Pay range: $57,000 - 67,200 depending on experience and skill set
