We're bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.

Purpose of the Role
The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in delivering seamless project execution by providing advanced administrative, people, and HR-related support across large-scale projects. This position connects project managers, field teams, HR/People teams, contractors, and customers to ensure efficient operations, accurate documentation, and smooth workforce management. By enabling effective collaboration and maintaining compliance with company systems, processes, and policies, this role supports Worley's mission of delivering a more sustainable world and driving measurable change across projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee complex administrative tasks including document control, timekeeping, procurement support, and field office management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Partner with HR/People teams to support workforce planning, onboarding, orientation, and employee mobilization for project sites.

  • Maintain accurate project and workforce documentation, including personnel records, schedules, compliance reports, and progress updates, ensuring alignment with customer and regulatory requirements.

  • Act as the on-site liaison for employees, contractors, HR, and project managers, resolving queries and facilitating communication to create a productive and inclusive work environment.

  • Monitor adherence to project workflows, workforce policies, and company procedures, escalating potential risks or process gaps to the appropriate stakeholders.

  • Coordinate HR-related initiatives, including employee engagement activities, training logistics, and performance feedback cycles, to promote a positive and safe workplace culture.

  • Lead and mentor less experienced administrative personnel, providing guidance to strengthen team capability and ensure consistent execution of support functions.

  • Prepare and contribute to proposals, presentations, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders, supporting clear communication and project transparency.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to project and HR systems, processes, and tools, helping maintain data accuracy and operational efficiency.

Qualifications / Skillset

  • Secondary school education or equivalent required; additional training or certification in HR, project coordination, or business administration preferred.

  • Significant experience in project administration, HR coordination, or field support roles within the energy, chemicals, or resources sectors.

  • Advanced knowledge of project workflows, workforce documentation processes, and HR systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound independent judgment and make decisions aligned with project and organizational objectives.

  • Skilled in using project management tools, HR platforms, and document control systems, with the ability to guide others in their use.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build relationships across project teams, HR, contractors, and customers while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to proactively identify and address risks or inefficiencies.

  • Committed to Worley's purpose of delivering a more sustainable world and supporting a safe, inclusive, and collaborative workplace.
