Overview

The Staffing Resource Coordinator is accountable for sourcing and screening persons with disabilities for our federal contracts as well as assisting with onboarding and training. This position requires strong interpersonal skills within the organization as well as building strong relationships within the community.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, social services or a related field (may substitute equivalent combination of education and work experience)
  • Minimum one (1) year experience working in a related field.
  • Prior experience in employment outreach and recruiting is preferred.
  • Experience with the AbilityOne Program and/or community vocational rehab services is preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge in military and civilian personnel matters, especially as they relate to the Department of Defense (DoD), federal, state, and county government agencies is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and experience using spreadsheets, recruitment tools and software.
  • Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.

Physical Requirements

May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions. Most work will take place indoors. May work with cleaning chemicals. Will be required to follow the Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change. May require working early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, and/or evening hours as well as weekends and holidays.

While performing this job's duties, the team member is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, sit (to drive), and lift up to 40 pounds. Will occasionally be required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
