Job Description:

We are seeking aProduct Engineering Managerto lead a cross-functional team in the development, characterization, qualification, and ramp-up of high-reliability semiconductor products. This role is critical to ensuring that product performance, manufacturability, and reliability meet the rigorous standards required for aerospace, defence, and other high-reliability applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Line Managers, Sales, Marketing, and Applications teams to define product specifications and develop technical documentation.
  • Interpret and apply relevant industry standards to assigned products and processes.
  • Gain a deep understanding of development and production procedures to ensure product stability and readiness for market.
  • Manage project schedules and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Develop and execute project plans that are both time- and cost-efficient.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including specifications and reports.
  • Implement qualification plans and publish supporting technical data.
  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, supporting design teams from concept through release to production (RTP).
  • Ensure robust support for customer-facing engineering teams.
  • Oversee silicon characterization, electrical testing, and reliability assessments.
  • Define and execute qualification plans in alignment with DLA, JEDEC, and customer-specific standards.
  • Develop and run stress test flows to validate both intrinsic and extrinsic reliability.
  • Lead root cause analysis for qualification and field failures using EFA/PFA techniques.
  • Coordinate with global teams across design, test, fabrication, and assembly to ensure smooth productization.
  • Collaborate with fab, assembly, test, quality, and reliability teams to define and implement product development strategies.
  • Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Support customer qualification efforts and resolve field-related issues.
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers across Europe, the USA, and Asia.
  • Contribute to internal training programs as needed.
  • Travel internationally as required.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in semiconductor product engineering, preferably in high-reliability environments.
  • 5+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of reliability standards such as DLA Land and Maritime, JEDEC, AEC-Q100/101, as well as SPC, DOE, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience with power, high-temperature, or radiation-hardened devices is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
