Under the general supervision of the Sr Analyst, Low Income, the Analyst provides technical and analytical support related to all C&C computer systems and platforms, with a focus on all company Low Income programs and administration. Candidate will be responsible for assisting in the monitoring of all customer arrears, from initial startup through final billed accounts. Candidate will also be expected to assist in the development and implementation of new and creative approaches to the collections process. The C&C Low Income team participates in the evaluation, testing, and integration of new data analytics products and services related to Low Income programs. The Analyst will have direct responsibility for all requirements of our EAP and Low Income programs across O&R and RECO companies.
Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining and updating all delegated collections reports for internal and external use regarding low income programs.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of computer system operating procedures for C&C and low income programs.
- Responsible for all data input and outreach for company sponsored Low Income and EAP programs.
- Assist in the development and deployment of all new customer outreach programs via the C&C Dashboard and data analytics. Assist in enhancements to our C&C Dashboard related to LI arrears and outreach.

- Ensures implementation of company safety, health, and environmental programs for all employees in the group. Follow all approved company policies and procedures.
- Provide assistance to the Sr Analyst in program reporting, analytics, and requirements.
- Resolve credit related telephone inquiries and disputes and negotiate terms and conditions on customer arrears regarding low-income accounts.
- Network and maintain working relationships with all business partners regarding company Low Income and EAP programs.
- Assist in the preparation month-end reports, status updates for monthly departmental progress report, KPI goals, and other regulatory reports as required.
- Participate in the Companys Storm Plan as assigned by your Manager and department.
- Perform other assigned tasks as assigned by the Sr Analyst, Low Income.
- Develop, implement, and revise reports required by all regulatory agencies as directed by the Sr Analyst.
- Perform and facilitate program administration of NY and NJ Low Income Energy Affordability Policy Programs in use at O&R and RECO.
- Work as SME on Low Income-EAP functions, including, but not limited to: Daily file transfers, data input with regulatory bodies, reporting of program inputs and outputs.
Required Education/Experience
- Master's Degree and Minimum 2 Years Related work experience or equivalent technical background in customer service, collections, or data analytics. or
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 years Related work experience or equivalent technical background in customer service, collections, or data analytics. or
- Associate's Degree and 4 years Related work experience or equivalent technical background in customer service, collections, or data analytics. or
- High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years Related work experience or equivalent technical background in customer service, collections, or data analytics.
Relevant Work Experience
- Must have demonstrated work experience with some element of the collections process within the utility industry (or at an outside corporation) or direct responsibility for working with low income programs. Required
- Must have strong analytical problem solving skills. Required
- Must be well organized, detail oriented, ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Required
- Must have strong Microsoft Office skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Required
- Must have excellent oral and written communications skills. Required
- Must have demonstrated working knowledge of company systems such as CIMS, Data Analytics platforms, Adhoc Query Applications. Preferred
- Knowledge or utility collections methods and analytics. Preferred
- Work or experience in customer service and\or customer accounting areas. Preferred
