What You'll Work On
- Design water main, sanitary and storm sewer, and road projects for local municipalities.
- Perform design calculations, quantify bid items, develop cost estimates, and prepare reports.
- Execute CAD drafting using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Support bidding and construction phase services, including RFIs, shop drawing reviews, and as-built drawings.
- Collaborate with technical staff across Fishbeck offices to deliver consulting services to municipalities, universities, and private development clients.
- Engage daily with multidisciplinary project teams in a dynamic, multi-office environment.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Internship experience in civil engineering preferred.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel to project and client sites as needed.
