***This is a fully onsite position based out of our Brentwood, Los Angeles, CA office.***

About the role:

The Financial Analyst will be performing financial analysis and other analytical work to support transaction management and brokerage services provided to companies of all sizes. The Financial Analyst will assist clients in optimizing their real estate strategies by developing comprehensive financial models, conducting research, and performing analysis of leases, proposals, and client portfolios.

In this role, you will:

  • Work autonomously to analyze, underwrite and forecast property cash flows and valuations using excel spreadsheet analysis and performs complex Argus modeling.

  • Prepare market analysis reports for senior leadership, including vacancy, absorption and comparable rents and sales.

  • Organize and present data analysis, draw objective conclusions and make recommendations to leadership.

  • Conduct purchasing, office space acquisition and negotiate vendor contracts

  • Participate in the annual budget and quarterly reforecasting processes

  • Manage internal and contract account managers and accountants to perform financial management and analysis objective.

  • Develop financial cash flow models and perform financial analysis to support transaction management on a project-by-project basis

  • Support office leasing and occasionally industrial brokerage teams with analytical tools for clients to evaluate real estate lease and purchase scenarios, conduct cost-effective analysis, perform due diligence on subject properties and develop analytic strategies for lease/purchase decisions.

  • Optimize client's real estate strategy by providing customized analysis to better illustrate different real estate scenarios

  • Provide support for client presentations, responses to RFPs, and new business pitches

  • Ongoing communication with clients and brokerage team

  • Track and confirm current available office space supply in the market while maintaining relevant lease information i.e. rental rates, occupancy dates, term lengths, build outs, etc.

  • Work closely with research department to track and gather pertinent lease/sale comparables and companies in the market while updating building stacking plans.

  • Assist in the management of team database.

  • Review, analyze and abstract lease documents for prospects and clients to manage critical dates

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related area

  • 1-3 years' experience in Commercial real estate, capital markets or corporate finance

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Experience developing cash flow models and in-depth financial analysis

  • Ability to marshal resources - (people, funding, material and support) to get things done; can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal

Approximate salary range for this Role: $60,000 - $70,000 USD

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
