About the role:

As a Senior Client Services Specialist (Transaction Manager), we are looking for a motivated and driven individual to support our brokerage team with client relationship management, transaction management, client lease portfolio analysis and financial analysis. The Transaction Manager is crucial for ensuring deals are compliant, well-documented, and that team members are supported throughout the transaction process from due diligence to close. You are looking for a role where you can manage a transaction, own the process and help maintain effective client relations to help build business!

In this role, you will:

  • Deal Management and Processing - Input and process closed deals (leases, sales, consulting deals) into Colliers deal system, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.

  • Client Relationship Management - Responsible for acting as a direct contact between Colliers and clients, supporting members of this team in the delivery of services, reporting on activity and preparing client deliverables.

  • Transaction Management - As a member of the team, support the coordination and management of real estate transaction activity, working closely with local real estate brokers to ensure standards and quality control is in place, activity reporting is occurring consistently and in the correct formats. Proficiency and experience with the lease transaction / tenant representation process will be important, as the Transaction Manager must have the ability to manage transactions independently. Experience with industrial transactions preferred.

  • Client Updates on Marketing Process - Complete a significant volume of standardized marketing updates to a variety of clients including relevant competitive properties, sale or lease comparables, and prospects in the market. Participate in listing marketing calls and liaise with other team members to engage with prospective tenants or buyers for listings.

  • Financial Analysis - Complete a significant volume of standardized Microsoft Excel based lease and purchase cash flow analyses.

  • Lease Contract Management - Expertise with commercial real estate lease agreements, in order to ensure leases are efficiently abstracted by Colliers Lease Administration team and provide summaries to the Colliers team and clients. Have the ability to review draft agreements and make comments and recommendations and negotiate terms of the agreements on the clients' behalf, with input from senior stakeholders as needed.

  • Business Development and Marketing Support - As needed, support team from time to time with BOVs, as well as RFP and Proposal responses.

  • Team Database Tracking & Spreadsheet Management - Work with other team members and Colliers Research to prepare and update team tracking, including internal comp databases and team CRM

What you bring:

  • 3+ years ofrelevant experience within commercial real estate

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance or related field

  • Valid California Real Estate License is required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general technology proficiency

  • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written.

  • Ability to work under pressure and perceive problems and react quickly to effect solutions

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

Approximate Salary Range for this Role: $72,653.00 to $90,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
